Bonnefanten Museum, Maastricht Netherlands.
A visit to the Bonnefanten Museum in Maastricht is always worthwhile. If not for their collection then for the architecture of the building. Designed by Italian architect Aldo Rossi around 1990, and the Museum opened in 1995. The Architectural key point is the giant central stairs surrounded by high brick walls and topped by a glass roof. A noteworthy part of the exterior is de Giant dome that looks like it comes from a Jules Vernes book. The interior of that dome has white lines painted on a black background spiralling upwards.Visit their splendid website for more information.
